Recently We got some requests to do an analysis on Xfx Rx 580 8GB vs Gtx 1050 Ti. We have discussed this briefly below.
Xfx Rx 580
AMD’s xx80 graphics cards have always been known for their mid-range pricing and performance that rivals high-end graphics cards, particularly when overclocked. We thoroughly tested the GCN 4.0 graphics card inside the RX 580, and we are confident that it keeps the trend going. The RX 580 costs less than the RX 480.
Contrast this with the RX 480. The GTX 1060 6GB, which is the closest identical card from NVIDIA, is available.
The gaming performance, though, was not quite as amazing. Even though the RX 580 frequently outperforms the RX 480 in terms of frame rate, the improvement is insufficient to warrant an upgrade. We were able to play a variety of games in 1080p Full HD at frame rates ranging from 62 to 68 frames per second, including Final Fantasy XV, Apex Legends, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Forza Horizon 4, and F1 2019.
We were able to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Fallout 76, World War Z, Battlefield V, and Valorant at frame rates ranging from 64 to 107 fps for 1440p Quad HD and maintained frame rates at roughly 74 fps. We were able to play Valorant at 93 fps to 93 fps for 2160p 4K and kept frame rates constant at 93 fps.
Gtx 1050 Ti
Although the GTX 1060 6GB is the entry-level flagship of the most recent generation of Pascal graphics cards, most budget PC gamers cannot afford them. The GTX 1050 Ti, on the other hand, has a more reasonable price. The xx50 series of graphics cards from NVIDIA has always been known for their affordable costs and performance that rivals that of entry-level cards, especially when overclocked.
We thoroughly tested the Pascal graphics chip inside the GTX 1050 Ti and are confident that it maintains the trend.
Compared to the GTX 950s 2 GB video memory, the GTX 1050 Ti boasts 4 GB of RAM. The GTX 1050 Ti outperforms the GTX 950 and, astonishingly, the GTX 960 in our synthetic benchmarks.

Depending on what graphics card you are upgrading from will determine if the upgrade is acceptable. After spending extra money on this GTX 1050 Ti, users with a GTX 950 won’t see a noticeably higher frame rate. The owners of R9 280 graphics cards will also have no cause to switch teams just yet.
We were able to play Valorant at 80 fps to 80 fps for 1080p Full HD and kept frame rates constant at 80 fps. We were able to play Valorant at 66 fps to 66 fps for 1440p Quad HD and kept frame rates constant at 66 fps.
